My recent stay at the Griotte exceeded my already high expectations in multiple ways. The location is fantastic, situated conveniently on the Main Street, just across from the bus station and a stone's throw from the train station, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The fully equipped shared kitchen was a delightful surprise, allowing me to prepare my own meals and enjoy the local groceries from the butcher/boulangerie next door, giving me a taste of local life without breaking the bank. The cozy sitting area fostered a sense of community, where I could unwind after a day of trekking. Throughout my stay, I was particularly impressed by how impeccably clean everything was; the shared bath space and kitchen were well-maintained, reflecting the owners' commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere.
